I took her hand and felt its warmth as we began to run.My empire, my home, everything i knew was burning down, but i didn't care. This was the chance for me and her to escape! No never care if the world was crashing down! There was a piece of me that told me i shouldn't ever leave ever time i looked over at her, she took my breath away. I just wanted to stay till i could take this all in.
She had no idea that i was even there.
I tried to get a grip on reality and tell her i was there and tell her how much i loved her but i tripped and slipped over my clumsy, careless words,

Now there was too much of me, telling me not to leave. I looked over at her again, she was still breath takingly beautiful. I tried to take in her beauty, I just wanted breathe until I took her in.
She still had no idea that i was even there.
She was so close but i was so far away.
I started to fade away.
"No! Let me dream! Let me stay!" I cried. She was still so close but i was too far away.
She had no idea.
"I can't sleep, I can't dream, I can't change" I whispered as i faded.
I woke up and sat up straight in my bed. Tears poured down my face.
Am i really gone?
"Gilbert? are you okay? Why are you crying? Whats wrong?" Darien asked as she sat up next to me and rubbed my back as i cried.
"it was just a dream" I smiled and kissed her.
